Cataract surgery
The day of surgery
When you arrive at the hospital you will check at the Admitting Department. There they will check all of your personal information and get you ready for the procedure.
They will take your vital signs, temperature, blood pressure etc. and check over your medical history. You will get several eye drops put into your eye.
You will then be taken to the operating theatre. There they will make sure all of your paperwork has been completed and you have signed your consent form.
